as usual, i didn't get nearly as much done as i wanted to do. taking #1 son shopping this afternoon for a gift. he got a gift card from a fav auntie, so we gotta go spend it. the nice things about that, no gift wrapping!
still haven't figured out my menu. will get to that eventually. still have to figure out what to make for dinner tonite. as you can see, i'm not too motivated right now.
but i am looking forward to going to the Christmas eve service at church. that, to me, is what draws me to the heart of Christmas. worshipping, singing Christmas carols, reading the story of the birth of Christ. as i get older, that becomes much more precious to me.
over the next few days, things will be quiet here at challenges. i will be enjoying my family and taking some time to be quiet before our Lord and Savior. enjoy your time with family, friends. eat good food, laugh lots, but most of all, remember the babe in the manger, who grew up to hang on the cross, and then was resurrected by God the Father to take away the sins of the world.
