Thankful Thursday

i have actually found who started the Thankful Thursdays and am joining in today with the rest of the bloggers. Thanks you Iris for starting this. Go over to Iris's blog at Sting My Heart (isn't that a great name?) and see what others are thankful for.

today i'm thankful for:

*** Free Boxes!!! as we pack up to move, i love finding free boxes.

*** My Helpful Husband, who is packing up a storm. I hate packing and would much rather unpack than pack. Hubby is a great packer.

*** My Lord and Savior, who is going before us on this move and making everything come together for us. We still have a few loose ends but I choose to trust in Him, that He has it all under control.

*** Air conditioning and popsicles during our heat wave.

So, what are you thankful for today?

I love the C.S.Lewis quote at top of your blog--and that you are thankful for little things, like popscicles--in the midst of a big thing like a move.

thanks for all the welcoming comments and blessings on our upcoming move.

as far as the cs lewis quote, when i first saw it it really spoke to my heart. i've often feared its a bit of a downer, but with all the pain that we've endured in our lives we can honestly say, we are glad of the outcome that it has brought. the pain has been used by God to bring us His best: greater trust in Him, closer walk, stronger character, and much more.

looking forward to next thursday, ladies!

Okay. I'm all over the air conditioning. And that Parker is finally getting better from this stomach bug he's been fighting.

And I'm thankful for your comment on my post over at www.5minutesforspecialneeds.
